Cornucopia, I have always liked this word! It is one of those ancient words that is not widely used these days, it means literally a ‘Horn of Plenty’ it has many origins and there are a lot of myths and stories as to how it became to be associated with abundance, good times prosperity.
We don’t really need to explore the precise nature of this symbol, it is enough that we agree about its meaning. To me the Internet is our horn of plenty, it quite literally provides us all with the means to make ourselves much larger, to amplify our talent, to promote our causes and messages.
Call me a nerd if you like, I just feel gratitude to have been born into these times – despite all the chaos, war, terrorism & political conflict we have a remarkable planet to live on, and we can all participate with a global network that enables us to make very comfortable livings if we put the effort in.
